our dummer... i mean drummer..
Yesterday, had a huge blackout. i mean a blackout tat affect a huge area. Guess wad i was doing ? i was watching smallvile in the study room while everything just gone dark. and the whole neighourhood went dark too.
Good thing my sister had does fragrant candle, aiya wadevr, just candles.. Then both of us just wonder around the house with our handphone light. i went to play with my terrapin (defination: N. American edible freshwater turtle). THey seems scare too.. Haha.. weird rite, animals shldn't be afraid of darkness, then i tot of "the day after tmr".. hm..
Start smsing around, then my frenz start calling me, then some cant call thru.. i guess the network is veyr busy ba.. i think singtel, M1 and starhub sure very shock abt the sms rate during tat period of time..
AFter 15minutes.. still... pitch darkness. Haha, start losing faith on the power supply coming online soon. The neighbourhood seems to have fun on their own ways. Heard lots of werid noise, see kids start cycling around. Everyone started playing with torch light, my sister start playing with candles..
i went out to the corridor.. hm.. it doesn't seems scarier when everything is in darkness.. Saw weird neighbours frm opposite blocks on their buddism prayer song, some pple bring their table to the corridor. Some pple take picutre in their hse.. HAHA..
Surprisingly the pets and animals around didn't create too much fuss.. is the people that is throwing a big fuss.. GUys start shouting, making "wolf call", blocks far away are trying to communicate thru flashing of torch, weird pple walking around on the streets with torch. Then some intellience pple start playing piano, some manage to on their radio, some started a party in their hse, some pple started smsing calling telling me they surviving on 14 candles.. and some playing guitar (tats me).
ovERall seems fun, the full moon create a lovely ambience.. and the nearby LRT lighten up the fun!! haha.. Quite cool, get to see cars travelling around, with caution.. HAHA, and policecar patroling the car park.. =) ANd me rolling on the ground feeling bored.
power were resume at 10.52pm, not all blocks get their power back immediately, a few blocks at a time. Everyone ended their agony with a loud cheer. REallie cool, the whole neighbourhood sounded as if Singapore just score a goal in world cup. Muhahaha..
